Transport is more than booking space on a ship. We coordinate the loading port, the sailing and the arrival, and handle the customs and import documentation on the island so the boat is not stuck at the quay waiting for a form. If the vessel still needs to be registered or insured once it lands, that runs through the same team.
A boat that stays in the islands is being imported, and import duty falls due when it lands — what applies depends on the island and on how the vessel will be used. A boat that is only passing through and sails on is treated differently.
