Her hull and deck structure is constructed of GRP in cost-effective female molds, with almost all other aspects of the yacht being offered on a semi custom basis.

The Oyster can hit knots sailing on a sixty degree reach in around knots of wind, a very impressive light wind capability that hints at the greater speeds on offer in heavier wind conditions. While on passage from Hawaii to Alaska, the Oyster “Free Spirit” covered , miles in four days in cruising trim.
On deck her large cockpit offers comfortable seating for up to , all well-protected by a high backrest and cockpit coaming. Wide, flat side decks combine with teak-capped bulwarks to give a safe walk around deck space running the full length of the yacht and also to provide additional security on the working deck forward.
